Just wondering what everyone thinks the KUA characters might be up to if we given a 2009 update....?

Possibly, retired, except for Onslow. He is probably on the golf course.

Richard was just reaching retirement when the last series ended , so that fits for him. Perhaps he would have taken up voluntary duty as a crosswalk attendant near the local primary school.
Hyacinth would now officially be walking with a stick after having fallen off the stage during a performance of 'The Merry Widow'. This accessory would have given her the air of' grand dame' to which she had always aspired.
Sheridan would be living back at home, broke and homeless as a result of the global recession wrecking the hosiery and textile business he had founded with Tarquin. Richard would be helping him scour the newspapers in hopes of getting him a new job and out from under their feet.
Onslow would be up and running checking all his bets on- line as a computer ( one given to them second hand from cousin Ralph) would be saving him from the trek to the bookies..
Daisy would be her usual sloppy self but enjoying some limited success as a newly found romance fiction writer for Mills and Boon.
Emmet would be happily remarried and now the father of a young son thanks to meeting a divorcee at one of the Bring and Buy sales.
As for the others... I'll leave that for someone else to speculate on...

What would Hyacinth be doing in the "UglyBetty" TV show....
Would she work their at an 'upscale prestigious snooty fashion mag as a rival to Wilhelmina" The snooty neighbor to Poppy Suarez? The snooty neighbor to Claire Meade? Or the Brit rival mag to Claire (like an Hy/Anna Wintour mashup character)? |
